Wow, they were so successful for a good few years yet have struggled the last couple of years, think the higher league where they have to endure long distances while the players who gotvthem to cup finals, promotions couldn't continue playing for them with the travel distance, training, with working some couldnt afford to miss work

Victims of own success I think yes.

Worst case scenario which has already been spoken about is the club starts again in a lower league and if that's what happens then so be it. I'll always be a fan no matter the league we play in. It's a special club with some good people involved.

My work mate, Scotty, is a massive fan, follows them all over, sponsors a player each season too

Mind you that was for an attempted drop kick on this right wanky lad up front.

And yes we were members of the same team.

True story.

I used to watch Guisborough when the mum in law alive cos she lived next to the King George field (?).

It was only then i found out Gizzy had a swimming baths!

Would Whitby be the "biggest" local non league team?

Probs Spennymoor, Darlo and Hartlepool. In saying that Darlo and Hartlepool are 'full time' non league so would have to be Spennymoor.

I keep forgetting most of you lads are south from me. Whitby is just as close to me as Darlo is for most of you.
