That is so right, for 6 weeks he was as good as any Boro player I had seen

Remember football focus showing on the saturday morning we were playing at home to Arsenal & they were talking about Emerson as potentially the best player in the PL
I would have gone along with that & for me, as good as Souness, that game v Arsenal we lost 2-0 & Vieira just bullied Emerson that I dont think he ever produced that level of performance again
