When Stoke City were our visitors to Ayresome Park for a 1st division game

Boro won this game, our 3rd home game at our new stadium 2-0 with Joe Cassidy, his 4th of the campaigne & Edward Gettins, his 1st Boro goal

After losing the opening fixture at Ayresome Park the Boro won the next 2, including the Stoke game
