A Boro hat trick & a long awaited return for Lawsy

A car of us travelled to West Yorkshire for this 2nd division fixture
Boro go into this game on the back of  our 1st defeat since the 5th of September when losing at Bradford 2-0

Bruce Rioch made one change from the Bradford game handing Brian Laws the No11 shirt & dropping Stuart Ripley to the subs bench
It was BrianLaws 1st return to the field since damaging his ligaments in February (previous season) when taking & missing a penalty at home to Bristol Rovers
Boro comfortably won this game with a Bernie Slaven hat trick,  his 2nd Boro HT so far, having scoring a hat trick when we knocked out Blackpool in the FAC 1st round almost 12 months earlier, it was our 29th away HT & 119th in total since 1899
Brian Laws made a nice return when scoring our 4th & his 1st goal since January 24th
