Our debut season in the football league the mighty Boro beat Barnsley 3-0 at Linthorpe road in a 2nd division match

2 new goalscorers scored for us, in Geoffrey Longstaff putting us 1-0 up & John Thomas Lamb who scored a brace, thus becoming the 1st Boro player to score two goals in one game

Our 3rd home game in to our debut season, losing the 1st & winning the 2nd & 3rd
