My mates auld fella, Park End Lad, man of few words told Me when he once met him year's ago at a dinner speech in London.

Said he was starstruck.

That the greatest striker he'd ever seen kick a ball, was stood in front of him.

That's enough for Me.

Said Greaves said:

"Awight My san, ow's it goin"? . . .

Then shook his hand.
I asked him what did he say to him.

Said:
'I couldn't say f*ck all,  that was My hero, stood in front of Me, . .  I was f**king mesmerized, speechless'

'He looked at Me like I was a  right daft c**t'!

Said he felt a right silly c**t later.

Of course I never seen him play, but I bet He was a joy to watch.

Another player that would never play for the Boro.

But we can dream eh?

And as much as it pains Me to say it.
Alan Shearer was class.

Stick Ian Wright in there too.

Shearer, Wright, Kane, Fowler, Owen

AtomicDog

Absolute f**ing legend.

I lived in South London,  in Brockley, where he's from.
David Rocastle was from there too.
when he played for Palace. Knew Lad's that knew him, said you couldn't meet a nicer Lad

Get the Kleenex at the ready:

There's a proper real footballer, not these overpaid ars*holes with sh*t haircuts and hearts like peas.
Ian Wright, Wright, Wright.

Him Mark Bright and Andy Gray were class for palace

You say that but did he accidentally 'pull on the shirt' and get his head stuck in the arm of the shirt on a Beni bender with Messi?

Don't mean to do a Roofie cut and paste job from otr, but this is pretty impressive...
Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in Bayern Munich's 7-0 demolition of VfL Bochum on Saturday to take his league goal tally to seven and set a club record for most goals by a player in his first five Bundesliga matches. He beats the likes of muller, klose and manduzic. Hell of a footballer.

To be totally honest with you I'm not even a big football fan, but there's only one team I'll ever follow MFC
More music n Drugs kinda hound.
I blame My Dad for the misfortune of me following a sh*t team.

So if I could sum it up in a song, this might be it.

But Peggy Sue, you know it's true:
