I get not pleading guilty when picked up for any other offenses when on the outside.

Magistrates could not give bail due to the fact it has been committed to crown court.

Bail had to be the sensible answer.

He appeared at magistrates this morning and was remanded in custody.

Just after lunch a crown court judge released the officer on bail.

Its not an unusual thing to happen when cases get called from magistrates to crown.
