Or are those great days over for good.

Ravishing Rick Rude

Dead and buried are those days.

Not a chance with McLaren or fucking Southgate, those collective cunts put a stop to me going to games. Their negative shite took all the love for attending games out of me.

BoroRedKen

Still our most successful manager.........

Get Rooney in!

Mike Peeler

Nah not McClaren - I doubt we could ever afford Southgate the other poster mentions I would have him back but he will go premier league when England is over.

I think a lot depends on when or if/the time he fires Carrick. If he bins him off well before Xmas then I think he will stay adventurous in his thinking/play/style. Anytime after Chrimbo for example and it will be  Pullis or some firefighter like that.

The funny thing is Scott will have someone's names already on the radar if that's the model they are working towards with ready-made replacements already in mind should a manager be sacked at any given time,

Maybe a continental/coach would be my guess who is happy to work with whats on the table. Heaven knows who like.

WTF have you been sniffing?

On the final day of February 2004, Boro ended the club's 128-year wait for major silverware with Carling Cup triumph in Cardiff. Having overcome Arsenal's 'Invincibles' over a two-legged semi, Steve McClaren's Boro side were tasked with a final tie against Sam Allardyce's Bolton Wanderers.

I was at Cardiff as you would expect. The away days in Ostrava  and Europe were a bigger highlight to me.

Hey Blotty are you trying to rewrite history here

We won the Anglo Scottish Cup in December 1975 beating Fulham in a 2 legged final

Just before our centenary season too

They had a decent season last year but I think cracks are starting to appear again at the falling giants.

All is not well both on and off the field - always in the news for the wrong reasons - what might save him is all the buyout talk, until that happens they won't chance coach etc. Until then at least I would say unless form and results drop off a cliff.

A messed up club trying to recover from the glory days of when SAF was in charge..

Made wrose by their neighbors tsking the piss out of all in the league and cups.. :leo:
