I am suffering from a knackered foot.

7 days ago my left foot developed what looked like blood blisters on the sole. After 3 days of trying to get an appointment at the Drs i finally got an appt for Thursday.

Saw a trainee GP who said it was not blood blisters so called in the senior Dr. She did not have a scooby what it was so took photos and sent them direct to Dermatology.

Now i can barely put any weight on my foot. My calves are fucking knacking me from limping. My foot is a mess and i still have not had any call/medication/advice since.

Its not a secret i have a very low immune system and now im concerned its becoming infected!

So if the pain dont ease etc im going to have fuck about and go to casualty.

What was the point of taking pics, sending them but doing fuck all about my pain until somebody looks at them at JCUH?

Pisstake....

I'd go to A&E if you are really concerned. Go early like before sunday football starts it gets busy with that lot of injuries on a sunday.

The NHS is knackered any good folk get trained up and get experience through the NHS and then those of any good about them f. off into the private system or abroad.

Its am Insatution the NHS and one I am proud of its just fucked, and I don't have the answers to it all

Kelloe

I've had something similar, turned out to be athletes foot.

Appologies with the paper its in, not really I dont, but a big plus for me if this becomes available & actually works, I suffer badly day to day with PA

Cheers for the ideas.

The last time i got an infection it scarred my arm from wrist to elbow. It was like it was eating my flesh. That is crap with having a low immune system.

You always hear and read about these new remedy/cures but we never seem to see them. I'm obviously  interested when i see anything kidney related like new dialysis machines that can dialysate in 2 hours, portable ones for home use, drugs that slow down the deterioration of the kidneys. I've read about all these but never came to be. Even asked my renal team about them who had never heard of them.

Amputation is the only hope.

Looks like Athletes foot to me but a bad case

They must have been itching like mad?

Ancient cures (the 50's) were like this

https://www.imperial.nhs.uk/~/media/website/patient-information-leaflets/pharmacy/how-to-use-potassium-permanganate-soaks.pdf

There was a lad at school got ring worm and had to have his head shaved, dyed purple and wear a leather cap with flaps that fastened under his chin

Poor lad

Canestan cream Kenny

RiversideRifle

That's a bacterial infection. Some of the lads get it when they have damp feet for too long from getting wet or sweating in their socks. Athletes foot or worse trench foot. Stop wearing socks and keep your feet dry and get some medicinal talc.

Get yourself a tube of Lamisil cream Kenny. That will clear it up in a few days.

BoroRedKen

Cheers lads for the advice.

Sore as hell at the min but i shall raid the chemists in the morning.

Someone else mentioned that stuff to me also Kell so i will give that a shot.

If you've had an mRNA Covid shot it'll 100% be a consequence of that - there are thousands if not millions suffering the side effects now

Comedy gold - Covid vaccine rots your feet scandal!

Still you're not too wrong - just its catching Covid that can give you problems with toes

I wish it was comedy gold - unfortunately it's not

BoroRedKen

Sorry Neo (KR).

I should of said that its all part and parcel of my "illness" i have had for 36 years now so it predates any form of jabs/inoculations.

I only say this because Covid/vaccines for/against them brings the worst out of people when it gets discussed.

The way a "new variant" is getting plugged lately i have no doubt the conversation will arise again so you can all have it with each other then.
