Following our opening day defeat at home to Spurs 3 days earlier Bobby Murdoch handed Andy the No2 shirt standing in for injured John Craggs, for the 1st of 2 Boro career games

Andy was registered No537 when he started

The game ended 1-1 with Dave Shearer scoring our goal
