Curtis Flemings debut wearing the No14 shirt, was named by Lennie in the squad v Ipswich away on the 24th August 1991, replacing Gary Parkinson in the 2nd half in a 2-1 defeat, Curtis went on to make 266 appearences for the Boro, scoring 3 goals, between 1991 & 2001

I liked Curtis. He wasn't exactly the greatest player but always appeared to give 100%.

Yes, I liked him and as others say a bit of an unsung hero, but you do need players like that in a team. Gary Neville was like that for Man U never grabbing the headlines but the team was often knackered without them.


He liked his clothes as well always had the top gear on and always in the Boro shops like Reporter, Changes Psychic, and all that.

That sort of explains things then. He had that Lee Harrison look about him he was always dressed to the nines in top draw labels.
