Miss Ken Bruces popmasters in the mornings when I'm off work & doing my This day in Boro's history, nothing against Vernon Kay, who I'm sure will do ok, but not for me, its just not the same

Never listen to Radio 2 since the cull of the "mature" presenters , Ken was The Man , everything stopped at 10:30 for Popmaster.
Can't stand the bloody adverts on the commercial channels , so usually its Spotify for me

He's on greatest hits radio 10am till 1 pm Monday through Friday pop master on at 10.30am every week day the TV version was so so because it was on everyday for a week it's still getting repeated on more4

It is a pain with all adverts on GHR but its still a good listen. Love popmaster, even managed to get on couple of years ago.

Radio 2 has been steadily going down the shitter since they forced Ed Stewart out 25 years ago.

As for Ken Bruce; even after switching to a station which doesn't even cover the Gtr Teesside area on FM, his Popmaster quiz is littered with questions relating to the 2000's even though Greatest Hits Repeats lays claim to be a 70s/80s/90s station.

Not long ago I listened to radio two all day.

Now, they chase diversity 'tick-boxes' rather than ratings/listeners.

If they never had the luxury of the tax that we all pay for them, I believe their goals may be a little different
