After 4 years without being able to watch their team, a record attendance of 5,451 Bury FC fans packed into Gigg Lane to watch the Shakers beat Glossop North End 4-1

Great to see them back & from all football lovers good luck for a speedy return to league football, starting life in the Isthmian League North Division

I loved our year in that division - made better by the fact we went straight back up - it's a good feeling of great times when you look back - I doubt I would be saying that we spent years in division three like some teams do. As Liddle touches on it was a Boro invasion in every away game. You could guarantee it going off in the home end at most games away with Boro in there. Wanting trouble or not.

I only ever did Chesterfield away (home end) like that and, it went off.

I've done the seats at bigger grounds when I couldn't get tickets, Leeds, Newcastle etc home end, but kept quiet when the was only a car full of us.

I - a few of us nearly got done over, out the back of Carlisle (side stand) on a bank holiday game. They sissed us and went for us luckily the cops had us clocked or we would have taken a slap or two given the difference in numbers. I thought they were going to nick us out the back, but just took us into the Boro end behind the goal thank fuck
