Does anyone know what the score is? I've had fuck all comms from the club which is poor with a week to go. I've been on the website and tried to follow the instructions but the options it tells me to click aren't available

Don't know why you can't have both, my season card just stays in my wallet, must be old fashioned but that's the first thing I check is in my pocket. I've left my phone at home twice last couple of weeks going to work, but my wallet with my season card in it is always there.

The main reason I'm a bit miffed is that just 1 week to go and I've had no comms from club, yet the website states:

Supporters who require a new Season Card for 2023/24 – including seat moves, price category changes, and new applicants – will be the first people required to download their Season Card onto their mobile device. These supporters will be contacted via email and/or post ahead of the new season with full information on how to get set up

We're moving seats so cheesed off I've had no info and no new plaggy card, so how the fuck do we get in on Saturday

I think we get fazed in over the course of the season - or asked to anyway. It would get interesting if a few thousand season card holders just replied back - of course if you send me the phone to do it from.

They know it's an addiction (football), and people will moan, but still got out and get a phone if they need one.

Me unall. I'm not a big mobile phone user full-stop, so downloading some "app" to gain entrance to the ground is a non-starter for this particular 60-something year-old.

There is a form on the website giving you the option to opt out of Digital Card.When they contact me I will be filling the form in because I only have an old I Phone 3.My phone is not compatible with the Boro app system.The site states you need I Phone 8 or above,Going to be fun when they contact me to change over.

It will lead to cost savings and will also lead to staff cuts - thats the price of technology it happens all over now. You might still get the old-school staff service and product, but it will come at a cost to you in the longer term.

It is the same with walk-ups -if one day they don't cover the 'staff costs' to process them daily and match day - they will go full-on season ticket only or no entry.

The biggest cost to any business is often 'staff costs' and many places/industries are always looking to slash that cost if they can.
