Good luck in what ever avenue you decide to take I can see both sides of your argument 'free viewing' will likely lead to fewer sign-ups initially anyway. Once they've lurked they might like what they see, and then sign up. Sign-up from 'day 1' will more than likely see an 'influx' of newbies 'hopefully' - of which many/some will be on the 'nose' and you weed them out eventually. Or you will end up with loads of members and very few users.

I doubt Fred and, Baddad will want this place advertising OTR so any trouble causers (rats) linking or copying from here over to there - it won't stay up OTR for long I would guess.
