Yea my mate & his family, due to changing seats from the family stand to further towards the away fans, will be testing his digital ticket account v Millwall, something he isn't looking forward to

The new ticket will likely use NFC technology - this is nothing like signing into an app or using your camera (not sure why anyone would do that anyway)

I imagine it would be more like the way you get your free beer using your Season Card

You just hold your card against a reader

You may be able to add your card to your wallet on your phone (or high tech watch)and have it work from there

At the turnstiles it will stop all those half wits that cant use a paper ticket in the code reader because its their first game.

Us gold card holders have their own entrance of course

Can't think of any benefit I've had from having a gold card.
I still talk about the day I ordered a balti pie, the lass said the crust looked a bit burnt so I can have it for nothing

Yes, the is nothing like getting stuck behind some halfwit trying to put his paper ticket into the reader from all angles and then the bastard misses the click to go through,  

 and someone has to tell him he has fucked up and needs to find a steward or go to the ticket office. And to take his wife and 2 point 4 children with him. FFS

I work shifts and still pay my money despite probably missing a third of the games. I should be able to give my ticket to who i want but thats going to difficult if its on my phone ?

NFC code can be on your phone or a plastic card ( I can even run them from my watch)

I'd recommend wait and see before guessing problems
