His brief would have told him to 'check himself in', how many celebs do it these days. Jordon, and Gazza all do it to soften the blow of being caught.

Yes, she is left to clean or patch it all up the poor cow. If it's 'bloke' involved then this won't be a first time, and he will have been playing with the 'boys' for years meaning his marriage was all convenience like Schofield's was. Doing a runner just means he has to avoid interviews gets time off work all paid no doubt, and more taxpayer's money going to waste whilst he plans the best way out of all this from a 'hospital bed' even the filth will back off regardless that's why they do it.
