Out of the cup & temporarily out of the playoff spots, we desperately need a pickup performance to recharge our batteries, get the feel-good factor back at the Riverside & get the season back on track & what better time to start our run towards a playoff spot than beating the mackems
These are always big games & over my time following the mighty Boro we have had the most success, let's hope Sunday is no different as we hopefully record a double over our self-appointed massive neighbours
With the departure of Rogers our thin squad is looking thinner & with us still struggling on the injury front, making the timing of his departure worse, though players are slowly starting to return & with the 2 players soon to be coming back from the Asian Cup things will take a massive turn for the better, we need to keep in touch if we are to keep pace with the top 6 & give it a good go when everyone is available & a late run to cement our place in the top 6
If selected we could see a debutee in Luke Thomas, with Luke Ayling whose performed excellent since coming in from Leeds on loan, our 114th & 115th loanees we could see VDB play in his rightful role alongside Fry, or Clarke, that in itself will take care of the area of the field. Finn Azaz has now had a few weeks to get to know his new teammates, hopefully he'll show why Carrick chased after his performance against us earlier in the season
No Jones, Late, McGree, Silvera, Coburn struggling, we really are lightweight up front & unless we share the goals between the team we wont be worrying opposing teams defenses

Morning Erimus- one notable omission from your list - Dicky Rooks! I loved this no nonsense centre half.
Remember him playing as a striker for us against Cardiff. He scored a hat trick, trouble was Cardiff got 5! Sent us down to the old Third Division
Once again Erimus a great and informative write up. Looking forward to the game.Hopefully we will shade the game 2-1.
On a sad note we have one less at the Riverside for the rest of the season,My son in law was hit by a car on Monday and is still in hospital with broken bones and smashed up foot so I want a win for him 'Get well soon Deano .
UTMB!!!!
Starting with a proper right-back & O'Brien in central midfield is a must. Sadly, I don't think he'll do either.
The way you lot are going on, you would think this is a football message board.
Fuck the horrid gits ...have a disinfectant bath & don't let them bump into you
then torture em down docky rd when we dick em ......cmon yer fckers
To the tune of the chorus of Coward Of The County.....
I promised me mam not to be a Mackem fan
Who bend down for Geordies when they can
They're so fucking weak
They opened up their cheeks
Gave up their bars and a stand
They're so fucking shit
Mackem fans...
It's the first time I have been called a pretentious tit. I feel quite proud.
Having a quick look at their board - immaturity personified. Take away how hard they are, Boro mutants and how our crowd size is somewhat pathetic - then they've bugger all to offer re decent posts. Pathetic truly pathetic.
I hope those seeking trouble are well catered for!!!
You can only play patched up sides for so long ...we have now had half a season of it , how Beale can go on tv & say they deserved more is a fkin bullshitter of the highest order . Injuries have killed us this year , but if we are nr the playoffs with a fit squad nr season end we will fuck a few over .......with a fit full squad !
We were so on top until the subs were made, in hindsight just store up the defence & midfield, strangle the game, see out the win, Coburn is slow & not fit, Silvera as mentioned, a big gamble putting those two on
That for me is the reason Michael Carrick will still be here next season & not at a PL team, i'm not knocking him , hope he stays longer but he doesn't seem to think outside of his test & trusted playing system
Glovers done well for us since deputising for Dieng, today he dropped a clanger, as will do any keeper, remember Schwarzer in the cup final v Bolton, even the best have it in them
I like Engel, thought he was unlucky to make way today, Thomas, our 115th loanee & 1011th registered player to make his debut & nearly made a spectacular debut scoring an OG
2 upper championship sides cancelling each other out.
